About

A small studio for serious engineering.

BartheTech is a French engineering studio based in Paris, working with teams in aerospace, automotive, industrial automation, and robotics. We exist because the gap between the engineering many teams settle for and the engineering they actually need is often wider - and more expensive - than it first appears.

Who runs this

Built by an engineer, not an agency.

BartheTech is founded and led by Suleyman Barthe. Engineering experience spans a global automotive OEM, an academic research lab, and an aerospace startup — each of which imposes its own discipline on what good engineering actually means.

  • Ford Motor CompanyEmbedded systems test engineering — vehicle validation across CAN telemetry, hands-on with the protocols that underpin modern industrial IoT.
  • Gipsa-Lab, GrenobleResearch on UAV propeller thrust estimation, developed aerodynamic models and simulation pipelines. Created and operated test infrastructure for hardware-in-the-loop testing to validate models.
  • Airhart AeronauticsFlight controls and state estimation for a fixed-wing aircraft: SISO and MIMO controller design with full robustness analysis, a 6-DOF aerodynamic simulator, and an AHRS / INS extended Kalman filter (in progress).
How we think

Three opinions that shape every engagement.

The cheapest answer is rarely the cheapest answer.

Industrial systems carry the cost of every shortcut for years. The discipline is to make the right trade-off visible before it gets locked in — not after.

Rigor compounds.

A model that can be argued with, a controller that can be tuned, a pipeline that can be inspected — those are the artifacts that pay off long after the kickoff meeting.

Generalists ship integrations; specialists ship outcomes.

We deliberately stay narrow on capability and broad on industry. The same control theory underpins a flight controller and a bottling line.

Working on something that deserves more rigor than it is currently getting?
